IDAHO making a noise for those who can’t

I was very pleased on Friday to head to the Northampton Guildhall to commemorate and celebrate International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.

There was a gathering in the courtyard where Mayor Roger Conroy spoke of the importance of standing up against homophobia and transphobia for the LGBT community in Northampton and worldwide.

I was lucky enough to speak to the lovely Matt from FAN, Ben from Northants LGBT News, Mayor and Mayoress Conroy amongst others from whom you’ll hear soon.

It’s so important to promote this sort of event and shout that we all believe in equality and human rights especially because so many can’t for fear of persecution, incarceration and death.

Stay tuned for news on the LGBT float at the Northampton Carnival!
